for one, i got hooked on raising my farm at farmville. i am not really into any internet or network games. im just not good at it because i easily get distracted. but when my friends started giving me all these gifts of trees and animals to take care, i just couldnt delete them. so i started collecting them. eventually i opened my farm. i started to get into the mechanics and before i knew it, i got myself already hooked. but for what it's worth, it's kinda therapeutic. addictive but therapeutic.but there's another thing to facebook that i didnt find myself enjoying from other social networking i joined before. facebook is different. but i guess most of you already know that. the connection is more personal and more organized.
then i realized that many of my friends (real friends not just network friends) are almost always online because of all these games. so i also get to actually chat with them regularly (until there's nothing more to talk about). espcially some friends who are now living in america. amazing how we can chat as long as we want (excpet when one is busy farming or raising fishes) and get updated. there are just so many things to catch up on. and also so different from just sending private messages which sometimes dont get a reply. and one topic leads to another.
and that's what made me really excited about my new hobby. being connected with my friends... almost everyday of the week. but im getting myself back to blogsphere. do a little catching up on blogs i follow. leanr a fewthings here and there. and hope to catch up with my blogging too. i have a had a few ideas to blog about but cant seem to scribble them down because ive been occupied by other things. or simply gotten stuck on my facebook page.
